Quality Control
Each associated cooperative is formed by farmers that own their olives, and an oil press or "entamadora" of olives, which presses the olives and produces the extra virgin olive oil, and is found in the laboratories of the Group Hojiblanca, where we carry out continous quality control of the product during the entire process of elaboration. Daily samples are analyzed of all the olives that enter the oil elaboration plants. Furthermore, we have recently obtained the recognition of the National Company of Accreditation and Certification (ENAC).
Hojiblanca adhers to CATA PROPIO, one of ten panels in Spain that complies with the imposed precepts set by the International Olive-Oil Counsel, whereby all sensory analyzing of virgin olive oils, and olives of associates; is carried out according to the common regulation CE2.568/71; to control every moment of the process.
Only by means of strict quality control can a good product be offered in the best possible condition. The Table Olive Section of the Group Hojiblanca has always sought to maximise the quality of its olives, and has developed a private method of preparation. The process found today, the result of the accumulated experience of more than a centuries work, is fully automated, including rigorous analysis by our team of investigators in the labratory. The team performs exhaustive computerized monitoring of the olive along the entire process, from harvesting until it is in its optimum condition for distribution. Only the olives that pass all of the different control measure will be marketed. Hojiblanca bottles black and green olives, offering various different options to the consumer: whole, seedless, in slices or in a pepper paste. For this, prior to packaging, the olive is procesed in different ways. The first process, is the separation of the olives according to their size. After this, they all follow different paths in the factory:removing the coret, cutting them into pieces OR filling them with different pastes: all depending on their final destiny.
The laboratories of hojiblanca include teams of highly qualified personal and the lastest technology, that we ensure has regular checks, as well as all necessary investment and development.
