Method
In Hojiblanca we take care of the fruit from the inicial flowering until the harvesting when the fruit is at its peak of maturity; this is the first step to obtain good olives and the best quality virgin olive oils. The combination of the tradicional methods of harvesting -only the best and collection by hand - combined with the most advanced technology, allows us to begin the processes of elaboration at the same time that the harvest is carried out. Therefore, our fruits enter the production process soon after being harvested from the tree, and this short period between tree and processing is necessary for the attainment of good olive oil, and table olives.
Each cooperative has a service technician (who is a representative of the associates) who reports and assesses the agricultural methods in order to obtain better crops and fruits with maximum respect given to the environment. This is one of the objetives of the section of Services and Supplies.
Our farmers recieve constant advice from the technicians of Hojiblanca in everything from cultivating the land, gaurauntees, irrigations, new cultivation systems, harvesting for the purpose of ensuring that our olives grow and mature in the optimum conditions. Besides, in the core of the Hojiblanca Group, an Association of Integrated Producción (API) has been set up, with the aim of ensuring that farmers give the utmost respect to the environment while obtaining their products.
